George T. Morgan's silver dollar circulated as ordinary money across the American West for nearly three decades, much of its silver drawn from Nevada's own Comstock Lode. Here, that history takes a different shape than in our standard coin rings: rather than preserving the coin's original design, the face is channel-cut and sanded smooth to hold something new — crushed obsidian and your choice of colored opal, set permanently into the band.

What you're left with isn't a coin you can still read. It's a coin transformed into something else entirely — real silver, real history, carrying color instead of coinage.

Sizing is the one thing that stops people at this price. So we removed it as a risk entirely.

What if I choose the wrong size?

Inlay rings can only be resized up or down a half size. Send it back and we'll resize it, free, for as long as you own it.

How do I measure without a jeweler?

If you aren't sure of your size, select Request Ring Sizer instead of specifying your size. We'll mail you a sizer for free and wait for you to email us with it before we forge anything — it's the most accurate way to measure at home. Learn more about your three sizing options.

Can the coin ring be worn daily?

Yes — every piece is built for daily wear, not display. That said, like any fine jewelry, we recommend removing it before activities with heavy impact on your hands - yard work with tools, going to the gym, etc.

How long does a commission take?

Usually 4-5 business days, once we know your size.

What happens after you commission

A delivery that feels like an event.

The moment you commission your piece, it goes to the bench — not a warehouse. Over the next 4-5 days, a specific coin is pulled from the vault, forged, inlaid, finished, and inspected, specifically for you.

Then comes the email notification: it's on its way. Next Day shipping via UPS or FedEx, tracked and insured, so you know exactly when to expect the knock at the door.

You'll sign for it — a small formality that makes the moment feel real. And then a ritual you share with thousands before you:

Remove the smooth matte presentation box from the mailer. Slowly lift off the telescopic lid, and your Certificate of Record is the first thing you see, resting on top.

Snugly tucked into the foam insert, slide the linen-and-suede ring box free. Lift the top to find the coin you chose is a ring now, catching light for the first time outside the Foundry.

Setting the ring box aside, you hold the ring close, turn it over in your hand, marvel at the details, find the date, and notice its surprising weight.

Finally, you slip it on. That's the part people remember for years to come.
