Bring Your Own U.S. Silver Coin

Your coin. Your history. Permanently preserved.

The Silver Sentinel Commission allows you to provide your own United States silver coin to be forged into a solid ring. This is not a selection from inventory—it is a private commission, carried out using material that already belongs to you.

Your coin is transformed using the same hand-guided forging process applied to our House silver rings. Throughout the process, care is taken to balance preservation, wearability, and structural integrity.

The center punch removed during forging is returned to you with the finished ring—a tangible record of origin that completes the story of the piece.

Because edges must be shaved, filed, and sanded for comfortable wear, there may be a small discrepancy between the original coin weight and the combined weight of the finished ring plus returned center punch. This is a normal and unavoidable part of responsible craftsmanship.

This is not a bullion transaction.
Your coin remains yours—reshaped, not replaced.

A ring made from your own silver coin.

Send us your U.S. silver coin and we’ll forge it into a
solid ring.

The center punch is returned with the finished piece.

Minor weight differences can occur due to edge finishing for
comfort. This is a commission—not a bullion exchange.

Eligible Coins

  • United States silver coins only (Silver Dollars & Half Dollars work best)
  • Minimum 90% silver content
  • Circulated or uncirculated coins accepted, subject to review

Photo Pre-Approval Required

Before mailing your coin, please email clear photos of the front and back to confirm suitability for forging.

This allows us to:

  • Review overall condition and remaining detail
  • Discuss heavy wear or aesthetic considerations in advance
  • Ensure expectations are aligned before shipment

Coins with significant wear may still be accepted upon your request—especially when sentimental value outweighs appearance—but this will be discussed prior to mailing.

  • U.S. silver coins only (Silver Dollars & Half Dollars work best)
  • Minimum 90% silver

Please email clear photos of the front and back of your
coin before mailing.

Heavily worn coins may still be accepted by request after review.

A commission, not a shortcut.

Each customer supplied coin ring follows a deliberate, hand-guided process:

  • Coin inspection and documentation
  • Center punch removal and preservation
  • Forging the remaining silver into a continuous band
  • Edge refinement for comfort and longevity
  • Final finishing and preparation

The goal is not maximum retained weight, but a ring that is
balanced, wearable, and built to last.

The returned punch completes the artifact—ring
and origin together.
