The coin of American freedom.

The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was minted from 1916 to 1947 in .900 fine silver and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful coins ever struck by the U.S. Mint. Designed by sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, its obverse shows Lady Liberty striding toward the rising sun, carrying olive branches of peace. The reverse features a proud eagle perched on a mountain pine sapling, wings partially spread as if preparing for flight.

The 1941 issue came on the eve of America’s entry into World War II, symbolizing a nation standing strong, yet ready to rise to meet its greatest challenge.

Hand-cut, one stroke at a time.

Every Walking Liberty Half Dollar is pierced and hand-sawed to reveal the eagle design in bold relief. The background is removed with care, allowing the eagle’s detail — wings, feathers, talons, and log — to stand free. Once cut, the coin is filed, polished, and mounted with a sterling silver bale and jump ring, then paired with a sterling ball chain.

No machines, no shortcuts — just hours of precision handwork that transform each historic coin into a unique heirloom.
