Returns & Final Sale
A House Charter
Silver State Foundry forges permanent personal artifacts. Because of that, return policies vary by collection and commission type.
Below is a clear breakdown of what can — and cannot — be returned.
Heritage Silver Pieces
Heritage Silver pieces are eligible for return.
Returns are accepted within 60 days of delivery, provided the piece is:
- Unworn
- In original condition
- Free of damage or alteration
- Custom sizes are eligible for return.
Return shipping to the Foundry is the responsibility of the steward. Once the piece is received and inspected, a full refund is issued to the original payment method.
Returned Heritage Silver pieces are inspected and, when appropriate, accepted back into House custody.
Sovereign Gold Allocations
Sovereign Gold commissions are final sale.
Because gold pricing and coin sourcing are tied directly to live bullion markets, these pieces are permanently allocated at the time of forging and cannot be returned.
Lifetime stewardship services — including resizing, refinishing, and restoration — remain available.
Legacy Chamber Commissions
Legacy Chamber commissions are final sale.
These pieces involve irreversible processes, including heirloom coin conversion and memorial inlays. Once forged, they exist as singular personal artifacts and are not eligible for return.
Lifetime stewardship services remain available where applicable.
Cancellations
Cancellation eligibility depends on the type of commission and whether a specific coin must be sourced.
Heritage Silver Pieces
For Heritage Silver pieces made from 'common year' coinage (Morgan Silver Dollars, Walking Liberty Half Dollars, and American Silver Eagles), cancellations are permitted any time prior to shipment.
These coins are held in reserve by the House, and no individual coin procurement is required prior to forging.
Sovereign Gold, Legacy Chamber, and Special Coin Requests
For Sovereign Gold commissions, Legacy Chamber work, or any commission that requires sourcing a specific coin or year, cancellations are permitted only before coin procurement begins.
Once a specific coin has been ordered on your behalf, the order becomes permanently allocated and cannot be cancelled.
Silver State Foundry sources coins through private dealer networks and may initiate procurement quickly after an order is placed - often within 2 to 4 hours of order placement.
Transit Damage or Carrier Loss
In the rare event of carrier damage or verified carrier loss, Silver State Foundry will coordinate resolution or replacement through the carrier under insured transit protocols.
