Shipping & Delivery

A House Charter

Every Silver State Foundry piece is made to order.

We do not mass-produce or hold inventory. Each commission is individually forged, finished, and recorded before it ever leaves the bench. Because of that, delivery happens in two distinct phases: forging and shipping.

Understanding the difference helps set clear expectations.

Forging Time

All commissions are forged to order.

Most standard pieces are completed and ready to ship within 2–3 business days of placing your order. More complex work — including memorial inlays, special sizing, or sourcing specific coinage — may take additional time.

Forging time refers only to the creation of the piece.
It does not include carrier transit time.

Delivery Method

Once forging is complete, your piece is released to a fully insured, trackable carrier.

Standard Allocations (Under $5,000)

  • Shipped via USPS Priority Mail
  • Complimentary delivery within the United States
  • Fully insured and trackable

Sovereign Allocations ($5,000 and above)

  • Shipped via FedEx or UPS Next Day Air
  • Complimentary express delivery
  • Fully insured with signature required

Transit Time

Transit times are determined by the carrier, not by the Foundry.

Once a piece has been released to the carrier, delivery schedules may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Regional routing
  • Carrier operational factors

While we insure and track every shipment, we cannot guarantee carrier performance once a package is in transit.

Tracking & Release Notification

When your piece is released to the carrier, tracking information is automatically generated and emailed to you.

You’ll be able to follow its progress from the Foundry to your door.

Resizing & Refinishing Returns

Silver State Foundry offers lifetime stewardship services, including resizing, refinishing, and restoration.

Before returning a piece, please contact the House to request return instructions and mailing address

Return shipping to the House is the responsibility of the steward. We do not issue prepaid return labels.

Once service is complete, the piece is returned from the House to you at no charge within the United States via:

  • USPS First Class Mail
  • Fully trackable
  • Complimentary outbound return shipping
