Hand crafted by Stuart Richards exclusively for Silver State Foundry, this coin was hand selected for authenticity and detail.
Each small area was pierced before the background was removed using a jeweler's saw with very fine blades. Finally, the raw edges were filed and sanded smooth to create a finish beyond compare.
In our Reno, NV studio we've added a loop and jump-ring out of sterling silver, turning it into a stunning pendant. It comes with a 22" sterling silver ball chain so you can slip this necklace on as soon as it arrives.
Removing the background of a coin to reveal the engraver's original vision is a time consuming and painstaking process. As a result, this gold-toned 2005 Presidential Dollar is the only one like it in the world!
