One of America’s most beloved silver coins.

The Mercury Dime, officially called the Winged Liberty Head Dime, was minted from 1916 to 1945 and quickly became a favorite among collectors. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the obverse depicts Liberty wearing a winged cap symbolizing freedom of thought, while the reverse features a fasces and olive branches for strength and peace.

Struck in .900 fine silver, the Mercury Dime remains one of the most artistically acclaimed coins in U.S. history.

An iconic U.S. silver coin.

Minted 1916–1945, the Mercury Dime features Liberty in a winged cap on the obverse and a fasces surrounded by olive branches on the reverse, symbols of strength and peace.

Sovereign MintsEach coin was struck and guaranteed by the coin's national mint — weight, purity, and content certified by the government.

Fit & Sizing Confidence

Get the size right before you commit.

Sizing is the one thing that stops people at this point. So we removed it as a risk entirely.

What if I choose the wrong size or I gain/lose weight?

Lifetime resizing is included. Send it back and we'll resize it, free, for as long as you own it.

How do I measure without a jeweler?

If you aren't sure of your size, select Request Ring Sizer instead of specifying your size. We'll mail you a sizer for free and wait for you to email us with it before we forge anything — it's the most accurate way to measure at home. Learn more about your three sizing options.

Can the coin ring be worn daily?

Yes — every piece is built for daily wear, not display. That said, like any fine jewelry, we recommend removing it before activities with heavy impact on your hands - yard work with tools, going to the gym, etc.

How long does a commission take?

Usually 2–3 business days, longer if a specific coin year is requested.

Stewardship & Return Policy

60-days, backed by lifetime care.

We are so sure you'll love your ring, all Heritage Silver Products are eligible for return within 60 days*. Wear it for a month or so. If it doesn't become a part of your life, return it for a full refund, no questions asked.

To protect your purchase, every commission includes:

✓ Free ring sizer before you commit to a size
✓ Lifetime resizing & refinishing, at no cost
✓ Fully insured, signature-required delivery

*Return policy applies to standard stock coins only. Pieces forged from a customer-requested specific year are sourced to order and are final sale.
